Paul is a goal oriented professional with 17 years of broad experience in the marine industry. As a Professional Yachtsman and a Chartered Engineer with a Masters in Naval Architecture, he has performed various management roles at a number of ship and yacht building companies. He has a solid history of delivering project objectives and establishing trust based relationships with clients and involved parties during vessel sales, manufacture and delivery processes.

Paul has a proven ability of working in demanding, multicultural environments as evidenced by his project management history: delivery of the 1st turnkey steel vessel out of a brand new Asian shipyard, which subsequently led to sales of 3 additional vessels to the same client; and by the execution of a number of simultaneous multi-boat production lines projects to schedule and budget delivering 50+ aluminium patrol boats over a 1.5 year build period in an Australian Shipyard. Paul has obtained a wealth of experience working for companies such as Devonport Yachts and Strategic Marine on many and varied projects.

Whilst as a Professional Yachtsman, Paul covered 45,000Nm by sail over a 5 year period and was responsible as the 1st Mate for crew safety training, equipment servicing and vessel maintenance programmes. Paul brings an invaluable amount of practical experience to the vessel design, equipment selection and yacht’s operational requirements.
